This Privacy Notice for the Consultation Form is provided by GÜLSEREN ÖNGÜN LAW OFFICE in order to inform you – our valued visitors who wish to consult us via the website www.gulserenongun.com – about the processing of your personal data collected and processed through your consultation request, in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), and other applicable legislation.

Personal Data Processing Activities, Purposes and Transfer

When you use the consultation section on our website or contact us via e-mail, telephone or other verbal/written means, the following personal data may be processed by GÜLSEREN ÖNGÜN LAW OFFICE with your explicit consent (where such consent is provided in physical or electronic form): your first name and surname, contact details (e-mail address, telephone number, postal address), company name, sector and title, IP address.

With regard to your personal data, you have the following rights under the KVKK (Article 11): i) to learn whether your personal data are being processed, ii) to request information if your personal data have been processed, iii) to learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data are used in accordance with this purpose, iv) to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your personal data have been transferred, v) to request rectification if your personal data are incomplete or inaccurate, vi) to request deletion or destruction of your personal data or anonymisation thereof where the reasons requiring their processing no longer exist and provided that there is no legal impediment, vii) to request that rectification, deletion/destruction or anonymisation operations be notified to third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred, viii) to object to any outcome to your detriment that arises from the processing of your personal data exclusively by automated means, and ix) to claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing of your personal data.

Under Chapter III of the GDPR, you also have the following rights: i) to obtain information about the processing of your personal data, ii) to access your personal data and the processing activities, iii) to request rectification of your personal data, iv) to request erasure of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”), v) to request restriction of processing, vi) to request notification to third parties to whom your personal data have been disclosed of any rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, vii) to request portability of your personal data to another controller, viii) to object to processing, and ix) not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.

You may withdraw from the consultation process at any time.

In order to exercise the rights listed above, you may submit your request in writing – together with information and documents enabling your identification and, if you wish, the completed Data Subject Application Form attached to our Personal Data Protection Policy available on our website – to GÜLSEREN ÖNGÜN LAW OFFICE through one of the following channels:

To ensure a faster response, please write “Personal Data Request” on the envelope or in the subject line of your e-mail. Requests submitted to us will be answered within thirty (30) days of receipt, depending on the nature of the request.
